Hummus is a great snack option for any time during the day or even for midnight hunger pangs. You can easily make it and store it in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 10 days.
Ingredients
250 gms chickpeas/kabuli chana (Soak the chickpeas overnight)
2 tbps white roasted sesame seeds (til)
1 cup spinach leaves all the stems removed
Salt as per taste
2 green chillies chopped (adjust to taste)
2 tbps lemon juice
2 tbps olive oil

– Boil the soaked chickpeas in a pressure cooker till it turns soft.
– except oil, Blend all ingredients in Crown Mixer Grinder to make a smooth paste.
– Add oil and mix it again. Chickpea Hummus is ready. You can add oregano or any other spices as per your taste.
– Serve it with – pita bread, plain cracker biscuits, ragi chips and cucumber sticks, and more fresh veggies.
